CPPDSM4017A Negotiate effectively in property transactions specifies the outcomes required to manage effective negotiations in relation to the sale, lease or management of property. It includes establishing the needs and expectations of relevant parties, and the negotiation skills required to achieve desired outcomes and provides some guidance on managing potential and real disputes between parties.
The unit may form part of the licensing requirements for persons engaged in real estate activities in those States and Territories where these are regulated activities, and this unit is a prescribed unit in that jurisdiction.
N.B. Potential “learners” for this unit from NSW are not able to use it towards their NSW real estate agent license qualification unless you were registered with MRT Training prior to 23rd March, 2020.

It is estimated that an “average learner” will take between 3 and 4 hours to complete this program. You are able to “leave” the program and come back to where you were up to – if need be. There is no requirement for it to be completed in a single “sitting”.
